Our History

1973
In June, Equipos y Materiales U.S., S.A de C.V. (EMUSSA) is founded, a national company focused on aluminum casting to meet the demands of the domestic and foreign markets, mainly in the USA.
1987
EMUSSA ventures into the manufacture of pole and lighting components for the foreign market, complying with the quality and regulatory standards that govern each customer's specifications.
1992
The assembly and painting business unit is created, offering finished products such as posts, light fixtures, mailboxes, and signage for export, mainly to the United States of America.
1993
Marketed nationally as a finished product for decorative lighting in Mexico under the EMUSSA brand.
2004
Fiamma® enters the domestic market, backed by more than 20 years of experience in architectural and urban lighting systems, street lighting, and road signage, primarily decorative poles and luminaires.
2005
Fiamma® along with its team and entire infrastructure, became part of Industrias R.L., S.A. de C.V., a company dedicated to the development and manufacture of high-quality finished products for the domestic and export markets, with the aim of providing greater focus, service, and efficiency to the world of lighting.
2008
Fiamma® revamps its image to diversify and expand its product range under two representative approaches developed by the engineering, design, and new product development department: classic or colonial-style products and contemporary-style products.
2009
Fiamma® expands its facilities to increase manufacturing capacity and overall quality; this includes the design and development department for new products, and restructures and expands the commercial distribution network, allowing further progress in the development of new product lines. This reaffirms a greater presence at the national level.
2012
Fiamma® grows with the development of a new approach to road products, joining classic or colonial and contemporary products.
2013
Fiamma® and Industrias RL incorporate the philosophy of lean manufacturing, transforming all processes into continuous improvement.
2014
Fiamma®, aware of technological developments, incorporates new LED technology into all its lighting fixtures.
2014
Industrias RL creates a commercial division focused on the residential market and urban developments.
2018
Industrias RL begins developing products for new North American corporate clients.
2019
Fiamma® incorporates a focus on street furniture products such as benches and trash cans.
2020
Industrias RL begins a project to transform corporate culture around caring for people's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, starting with our employees, then our families and our community, with the support of the organization “His Way at Work.”
2023
Industrias RL consecrates itself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, reaffirming its values and principles under the guidance of “His Way at Work”.
2025
Industrias RL consolidates its international growth strategy with the presence of an exclusive commercial manager for service and sales in the United States.

At Industrias RL, we have extensive experience exporting products to the United States, which has allowed us to master the logistics and customs processes necessary to meet the requirements of the North American market.
